A healthy diet is always important. It is good for your immune system and, one of the best ways to help you fight diseases and viruses. It is also a great way to manage your weight. As well as being good for your skin as well. 

Eating fatty foods and foods that are full of oil can cause spots on your skin. There are also foods out there that can help keep away acne. Some of these are Tomatoes, Blueberries, Wholegrain foods such as brown rice and whole-wheat bread, Beans and Dark green vegetables. There are plenty of others out there so feel free to try them and implement them in your diet. 

Cut Down On Alcohol and Smoking 

Cutting down on your alcohol will benefit you massively in long run. Drinking excessively can affect your overall health, not just your skin. Cut down on this and you will start to see improvements. 

Smoking is another for this. If you look at the fingers of long term smokers, you will notice that their skin is yellow where they hold the cigarettes. It can also cause your skin to age rapidly as well as smoking. There a numerous amounts of negatives when it comes to smoking and very few benefits of it. Smoking is becoming a thing of the past due to the scientific research that goes into the negatives of smoking.

Do Not Get Too Stressed

Keeping on top of your stress levels is easier said than done. However, they are a few things to factor into your lifestyle to make sure that you do not get too stressed out. Some research has shown in the past showed that teenagers with high-stress levels were more susceptible to acne.

Things to take into consideration for reducing stress levels is Yoga. Any form of meditation can help reduce stress as well. Maybe you are overworking yourself too much throughout the day. This goes hand in hand with a healthy diet. You want a well-balanced diet to keep your health in check for the different vitamins and minerals our body needs. Some are a lot more important than others which is why we need them more. 

Some of these are Vitamin E, Vitamin B7, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B2, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin B5, Zinc and Iodine. There are plenty of foods out there that can give you the vitamins and minerals you need. If you do struggle to get the recommended amount out of your vitamins then consider a multivitamin every day. 

If you manage to get all your vitamins and minerals bar one then, consider an individual supplement like zinc supplements. Obviously, this depends on which one you are short on so work that out from your diet.
