The Weight Loss Cure by Kevin Trudeau – Book Review


The weight Loss Cure “They” Don’t Want You to Know About is #1 New York Times bestselling author Kevin Trudeau’s new book about losing weight. This is a highly anticipated follow up to his highly successful Natural Cures book. Kevin again delivered the goods in this book by alerting us of the tricks and the underhanded tactics that the government and the food industry do not want you to know about.

According to Kevin, it is in the government’s best interest to keep us fat and suffering from weight related diseases. Although this is just Kevin’s opinion on the matter, you cannot help but wonder how true it could be.

When I first got the book I could not put it down, he jumped right into the weight loss cure with no hesitation. In fact chapter one is titled “lose thirty pounds in thirty days…GUARANTEED”! I do not know about you, but a headline like that grabs my attention with ease. I love to hear the word “guaranteed”, something about that word makes something ordinary seem bigger than it really is. This book really delivered the goods.

Kevin boasts that the cure for weight loss has finally been discovered; in fact, he states that over 100,000 people with virtually 100% success have used it for thirty years now. “Yes you heard right, one hundred percent”. I do not know of too many, or any weight loss program for that matter, that can guarantee a one hundred percent success rate.

I have to admit that as I read the book, I could not believe what I was reading. I was learning things about weight and food that I absolutely had no clue. I learned that eating two organic apples every day will help regulate blood sugar, reduce appetite, and increase cleansing of the liver, gallbladder, and the colon. I contacted a friend of mine who is a diabetic, and conveyed to him what I had read. He is now consulting with his doctor about doing some natural things that he got from Kevin’s book to treat his diabetes.

One thing that Kevin hits on in his book I am happy to say that I did know about, is the power of walking. I wrote an article about walking not too long ago, and the benefits of it over running and other high impact strenuous exercises. I can happily say that walking for one hour daily has kept me in good shape over the years. Family members ask me all the time for my secret to staying fit and I always tell them that walking is my secret, but they do not believe me.

In addition, Kevin includes a chapter that teaches you how to cure food cravings, emotional eating and uncontrollable compulsive eating. If you are overweight, this chapter alone is worth the price of the book. I was shocked when one of the techniques that Kevin talked about worked on me almost immediately.

This book is by far one of Kevin Trudeau’s best works. I can go on and on about the benefits of this book, but I am afraid I will lose you. In closing, I have to mention two more great points about this book. Number one is where Kevin answers questions from his readers in a frequently asked questions chapter, and number two is a chapter of nothing but testimonials of people who have tried his techniques and have succeeded in losing plenty of weight.

I definitely recommend the book to anyone who is struggling to lose weight and is fed up of the starvation diets, and do not want to go through dangerous surgery’s in order to drop those unwanted pounds.
